Swine Flu Concerns

With good reason we recognize that many are concerned about the current outbreak of the H1N1 virus  (Swine Flu).  We have always taken great care to clean our instruments after each and every class, and we also provide anti-bacterial gel for use before and after class.  It has also always been our practice to completely remove instruments that have been in the mouth of our students (a "wet" box is provided by the teacher so parents can help with separation of these instruments).  All instruments are sanitized after each class. We have been very fortunate that our families look out for each other by letting us know if their child comes down with any contagious virus.  We have also been fortunate that we have never had any sort of outbreak in any of our classes and fully believe it is due to our sanitation practices and the help of our families. In light of the H1N1 concern, we ask that families be especially vigilant in the following ways:1) Wash hands with soap and water before and after class2) Keep sight of and immediately set aside any 'kissed' instruments or props3) Inform Music Together if  anyone in your family is diagnosed with any contagious illness
